Hi there my name is Rachel and I got started painting several years ago because I started doing Craft Shows with my mother-in-law. I was trying to find things I could make quickly (and cheaply). I had seen Donna Dewberry demonstrating her One Stroke painting technique on TV and thought I would give it a try. Well my first attempts were NOT very successful but I bought some of her books and practiced...and practiced...and PRACTICED. I've never had any formal art training, although I would likle to take some classes eventually. But for now working as an EMT and painting my glassware keeps me busy. I hope you enjoy the site.
